Customer Comments:"Wow! Simply brilliant! There must be thousands of candle hobbyists out there that would love to get their hands on one of these. I’m sure most if not all hobbyists ran into the same frustrations with double boiling that you and I did. I can produce candles in a fraction of the time it used to take. Good luck with them! Thanks," -Creighton H. "I bought one of your wax melters a couple of months ago - it works GREAT and we need another one (or two) so please let me know when you have one or two available..." -Mitsuno B. Red Tandem Candles "I just want to let you know that the wax melter is working miracles for my business as far as production. Thanks again." Celeste H. "I absolutely LOVE the wax melter. It cuts my candle making time in half, and I love the temperature gauge. I haven't had a single problem with spills or drips, and clean-up is a breeze with the non-stick surface." Julie C. |

Some of the Employees of Angel Inn have learned how much fun they can have volunteering with kids to teach them some basic candle making. What isn't fun is trying to melt enough wax to keep up with several dozen kids standing in line at a taper dipping machine.
It may still not be fun, but using these wax melters has made it much easier and safer!
This wax melter is based the highly rated Presto multi-cooker/steamer. It offers 1300 watts of heating power - controlled by a thermostat calibrated in degrees F. It has a non-stick surface, both inside and out. A glass lid lets you see melting progress. And it's dishwasher safe!
The ball valve makes it easy to pour large or small amounts of wax into a container or mold without picking up the melter.
This is the most convenient portable wax melter any of us have ever used.
|
This is not a double boiler, no water is required.
|
Once you set the thermostat, there is no chance of overheating the wax.
|
You can adjust it to the proper pouring temperature and pour directly into molds.
|
It holds approximately 6 pounds of wax. |
You can read more detail about using the wax melter in the Owner's Manual. Or take a look at the Wax Melter Q&A.
More Customer Comments:"Just wanted to let you know I received the Presto Wax Melter in the mail yesterday. I used it for the first time tonight, and I absolutely love it! This will be SO much faster than the old double-boiler method. You did a very good job on it - much more professional looking than some of the converted Presto pots I've seen on eBay. Thanks again!" Rhonda M. "I want you to know, that every time I make soap, I'm thankful that I have my melting pot. It works great. You can't believe how much time it saves me when I am making product. "I make soap for a lot of reasons. Like most people, the least amount of expenses & labor that you can put into your business, the more profit you will have!! Well, purchasing the wax melter for making melt & pour glycerin soap was the BEST thing I ever did. I searched the web for melters and the only thing out there is for the big guys. The commercial pots available are expensive, large volume and take some technique to work them. If someone needs a pot to melt candle wax or melt glycerin, I would highly recommend yours. I have not seen any thing else like it on the market." - Paula V. |

For US purchasers, I am now charging a flat rate for shipping and insurance depending on your state. Shipping and insurance are provided by UPS Ground. After the melter ships, I'll send you an e-mail with the UPS tracking number and expected date of delivery.
Units are usually shipped 3 to 10 work days after receipt of an order. Units will not be shipped before payment is received. I am sorry for the delay, but final assembly and testing are done after an order is received (and this isn't really what I do for a day job!)
I am happy to ship to the US, Canada, and Mexico. I am very sorry that I cannot ship units to countries which do not use 120 volt power. (Convince me that you understand the power issues and you have a 2000 Watt transformer, and I may change my mind.)

Price Note: I had been able to hold my price the same for 3 years until January 2006. Unfortunately, the price of the brass hardware (valves, elbows and nipples) has increased more than $5 per melter since I started. It is with reluctance that I have passed most of this increase on by way of increasing the melter price $4.

I have very recently included a free mechanism from the PayPal Developer Network to take online payments for my wax melters. I'm using the "buy now" method. There is also a "shopping cart" and "checkout" mechanism that would likely be appropriate for most hobby candle factories. The cost per transaction is $0.30 plus 2.9% of the transaction. There are no setup fees or monthly fees. Click on the banner below for details.
